Oh my goodness... Real life has been strangling me.. so much so that I missed the end date for the RLF Christmas expo. Seriously no idea how I did that. As you know the RLF events are huge and help to raise so much money for worthy causes. You can see just how amazing the event was on the website: https://slchristmasexpo.com/.

My sweater is from NerdALERT and was an event item at the Christmas Expo. Check their mainstore once the event sims are closed. It's super cute and really a sexy lil ugly sweater. 

The pose is "Naughty List" from Extra poses and is super sexy cute! Really helps make sure you keep up that naughty image!

It's that time of year darklings! When everything on the grid turns wonderfully creepy and deliciously spooky. Don't ya just love it?

It's also time for another round of The Darkness Chamber Fair. This time around the theme is "Halloween." Well, of course it is! As always there is tons of fab creepiness at TDCF!  I'm like a kid going through my candy haul with all the goodies at the event!

So my location for this set of pics, is actually a build from Angelic Designs you can purchase for a hugely discounted rate at TDCF. I have to say I am tempted to take down my lil skybox home and live in this cemetery forever. Complete with sounds and sit animations it is absolutely to die for!  

And of course you need to dress up for all cemetery visits, so with my lovely gown from The 100 I feel wonderfully pretty. The Wendy Halloween Gown includes a texture HUD giving you quite a few options. The Luna Choker from Astara is an enchanting piece. It's beautifully delicate and makes for a graceful accessory for any look.  

W:6 has the crowning touch with this headpiece, available in both black or red its really stunning in it's elegance. My eyes are also from W:6, include four different versions in both the Catwa applier and mesh versions.  

Serendipity Poses are back at TDCF again with a few different pose packs. As always they are wonderfully lively poses and capture such a great sense of movement in them.  

What girl doesn't like a bit of makeup? Even dead girls like to look pretty, so I have finished up this look some lovely shadow from W:6 currently available at the E/M event and of course some Dark Passions polish. Now look closely at this polish set, the insides of the nails are a different color! So while you have a super somber and sexy black manicure you get the subtle accent of color coming from the inside of your nails. I so love this! So much!

You still have a little bit of time (a very little bit) to shop the Midsummer Enchantment event from Dark Passions.  If you haven't been yet you really want to make it a priority to go NOW! Ok well after you look at my pics!

I have to say I absolutely love this gown, it is so rich and elegant looking. When you pair it with the headpiece from Zibska it becomes magical. And of course Dark Passions has the perfect polish set to finish the look.  All of these items are still at the Midsummer Enchantment at a discounted price during the event. 

The Darkness Chamber Fair is still going strong with the "Black Magic" round and that is where you can find this enchanting lil necklace from Zombie Suicide. It includes a color HUD so you will have no problem finding so many things to wear it with.

My back tattoo is from Blasphemic and includes an Omega applier and system layers all with a choice of 3 levels of darkness which is really needed with the ultra pale skins. 

Once again I am using some poses from Serendipity that are also at The Darkness Chamber Fair. Like my last post they really have magical and unique feel to them. 

You may have noticed I have a few picture sets with horses or horse items in them. Something about each of those pictures sets have made them some of my favorite ones I have done. Somehow even in this virtual world I find magic, beauty and grace in the equine shape. If you haven't figured out by now I am a horse owner in real life, which is why I enjoy how magical they can be for me even in Second Life. Take a peek at my Flickr and see if you can spot them in my feed.

Entropy IV: Memento Mori - A quick peek at an LEA sim by NaTaS Janus.

   
The physical beauty of SL comes from the designers. They brings us the sights, sounds and items for us to play on and in. Without them and their continual improvements to designs we would still be looking like Ruth and playing in a cubic world! One of the greatest places to see some innovations in sim design and artistic creativity without boundaries are at the LEA sims.

So I finally made the time to pop over to see the latest LEA installation by NaTaS Janus, titled Entropy IV: Memento Mori. Admittedly I didn't make it past the landing spot because I just had to stop and take pictures! That means I am still missing out on the six distinct regions within the sim, ranging from laser tag, a maze, a midway and a church basement to name just a few.  Trust me I have plans to explore the rest, but for now I give you this little tiny peek.  

Of course when we go out in SL we must always look our best, I have some of my favorite designers here as usual, coming together in what I think is a pretty cute look.  Perfect for some casual exploring around and about SL.

Sometimes everything comes together perfectly. 

The the skin, the clothes, the poses, the location all seem to meld into something lovely. I love the how the setting picks up the texture of the lovely dress. I really can't do justice to the sim with my pictures, if you haven't been to Elysium City of Templemore yet you are so missing out. It is a never ending source of beauty. 

I do need to thank my friend Sullen Fang for help with the song today. Not only is Sullen a pretty fabulous DJ but his photography is really, truly beautiful. Take a minute to go have a peek at Sullen's pics on flickr, I am sure you will agree with me. 

Speaking of beautiful , did you see my new header / logo up at the top of the blog?  Ok, yes I know it needs to be aligned to the template better, does anybody know how to do that? I tried last night and well Macabre Beauty was almost gone.. oops.
But back to the header, how stunning is that? Absolutely frickin stunning! Of course it is, because it was made for me by none other than Spookyboo Puddleglum.  Now you know why it is sooo amazing! I have long admired Spooky's work and recently have gained the honor to call him friend. For me the best thing about blogging is the friendships I have made both with other bloggers and with designers.  Along the way some have become very dear and very close friends, as is the case with Bcreative Wilde the beauty that is Dark Passions. We met by chance through a small event and shortly afterwards the Macabre Beauties were honored to become part of her blog team. She took a risk with us, as we were very new bloggers at the time. Since then she has become a cherished and much loved friend in addition to a designer that inspires us.
I can't even tell you how honored I am by this nail set.  I love it's classic gothic feel. The simple elegance is timeless and will take you from casual goth looks to adding a touch of the darkness we hold so dear to your formal ensembles.
Look closely at the last shade.. do you see it? The swirling pastel goodness.  Bcreative is the reason why the sweet shades of pink and lavender so often are part of my looks, how appropriate that she included those colors in this set.
