together like no other. It's been gone for a few years but this year, amidst all the ugly that has been 2020, Pumpkin Town has risen up and has shined with all the beauty and splendor that we expect. It is everything we know and love about Halloween on the grid. The Pumpkin Queen never fails to deliver a magical world, vibrant with color and whimsy. Be sure to visit before the pumpkins once again turn into... well pumpkins. 

Ohh and there is shopping!  And a carnival, and rides. And so much fun!

Pumpkin Town has returned for it's 8th incarnation! After a hiatus for a bit the Pumpkin Queen has once again given us a delightful land filled with all the amazing charms of the season, from Skeles to Clowns and of course lots and lots of Pumpkins. 

Wonderfully dark and delightful designers have sprung up around the sim with some amazing exclusives. With all of the treats and none of the tricks you will be even be able to find gifts around the sim from merchants of Pumpkin Town.

Have you been to the Darkness Chamber Fair yet?  SO MUCH GOOD STUFF! Seriously I can't even begin to tell you how many amazing items there are at this event.  Like this dress.  OMG!  Or in this case Oh My Goth!  I seriously couldn't pick just one pattern that I liked the best so thought I would show you a few. Not all of them, oh no, there's more available at the DCF. 

Loving the makeup from Awear and this lovely tattoo from Divine Ink as well. Seriously you need to get to the DCF before it ends on Nov. 4th!

Welcome to Pumpkin Town 7

So we've made it to October (ok half way through at this point, I know) and we now have an overwhelming amount of fabness floating about SL.  I swear I just love this time of year in SL, there are so many great designs and builds it's just wonderful.  

 
One of my favorite sims each year is Pumpkin Town. This sim is truly a gem, and it's more than just a pretty face. Not only can you find some great stores there like Dark Passions (where you can grab these super cute Skele-Kitty polish HUDS), LiViD and HollyWeird, but there is live entertainment and a movie theatre playing some lovely old horror films. On top of all that Pumpkin Town helps raise money for Kenyan children through it's support of "Feed a Smile." You can read more about this great program here: Feed a Smile

Petite Mort has a special Trick or Treat Hunt at the main store right now. You  collect candy corns which are hidden in and around the store for 10L each to assemble the super cute witchy outft pictured below.  My witchy hat and my choker are both from the hunt.  LOVE that hat!

Have you visited Pumpkin Town yet?  This sim is truly a must see for the season. With a multitude of fantastic designers (many of which are offering free gifts in their both) plenty of entertainment events like DJs and of course a movie theater playing some wonderful spooky films you will probably need more than one visit!

There is also a sim wide hunt! 

The sim was taken over by a bunch of Little Monsters who have eaten up some goodies from various designers on the sim.  Can you hunt them down and get the goodies back?

The Truth About Bats & Avies Charity Festival for

Bat World Sanctuary (batworld.org) is in full swing over at the slGoth offices on the Morphe sim. 

In addition to an awesome collection of amazing designers you will also find the Bats in the Belfry Hunt taking place on the Morphe sims.

Along the outside wall of the magazine office you will find some stunning images of some pretty cute lil fuzzies.. err ahh bats.  If you click the image you will be given a web link to find out the story of each lil fuzzywuzzy... um I mean each bat.  

My adorable lil dress is from Petite Mort and can be found over at The Mad Circus Halloween & Gacha fair. 

Now of course you know my nails are from Dark Passions - Koffin Nails, but did you know they are part of the Bats & Avies charity event?  They sure are!  And to make them even better they are a 100% donation to the sanctuary.  Every L you spend on this polish set will go help feed the cuties.  While you are there snatch up one of the other batty designs which are all at 50% donation towards the sanctuary!  Gotta love that!   The HUD includes 9 color variations of this design and is available in Slink, Belleza and Maitreya styles (each sold separately of course.)
