So I finally got a chance to visit my Gothly cousin Hallow's Haunted Silent Peacock Hotel. What a beautiful and stunning sim. So many rooms to explore all beautifully detailed. I can't wait to get back for another stay.

Of course if you are going to visit a fancy haunted hotel one must look hauntingly lovely and this beautiful dress from Petite Mort is perfect for accomplishing just that. It's available now in 5 lovely colors at Tres Chic.

I'm holding on to fall as long as I can.

Here in California fall still means tank tops and sandals. Windy days abound around here but we still manage to squeeze in some bonfires when we can. I love fall, it is pure perfection to me, I feel free and full of life in fall. I just wish it lasted longer here, seems like I blink and it's gone.

Welcome to Pumpkin Town 7

So we've made it to October (ok half way through at this point, I know) and we now have an overwhelming amount of fabness floating about SL.  I swear I just love this time of year in SL, there are so many great designs and builds it's just wonderful.  

 
One of my favorite sims each year is Pumpkin Town. This sim is truly a gem, and it's more than just a pretty face. Not only can you find some great stores there like Dark Passions (where you can grab these super cute Skele-Kitty polish HUDS), LiViD and HollyWeird, but there is live entertainment and a movie theatre playing some lovely old horror films. On top of all that Pumpkin Town helps raise money for Kenyan children through it's support of "Feed a Smile." You can read more about this great program here: Feed a Smile

Petite Mort has a special Trick or Treat Hunt at the main store right now. You  collect candy corns which are hidden in and around the store for 10L each to assemble the super cute witchy outft pictured below.  My witchy hat and my choker are both from the hunt.  LOVE that hat!

Sometimes everything comes together perfectly. 

The the skin, the clothes, the poses, the location all seem to meld into something lovely. I love the how the setting picks up the texture of the lovely dress. I really can't do justice to the sim with my pictures, if you haven't been to Elysium City of Templemore yet you are so missing out. It is a never ending source of beauty. 

I do need to thank my friend Sullen Fang for help with the song today. Not only is Sullen a pretty fabulous DJ but his photography is really, truly beautiful. Take a minute to go have a peek at Sullen's pics on flickr, I am sure you will agree with me. 

Speaking of beautiful , did you see my new header / logo up at the top of the blog?  Ok, yes I know it needs to be aligned to the template better, does anybody know how to do that? I tried last night and well Macabre Beauty was almost gone.. oops.
But back to the header, how stunning is that? Absolutely frickin stunning! Of course it is, because it was made for me by none other than Spookyboo Puddleglum.  Now you know why it is sooo amazing! I have long admired Spooky's work and recently have gained the honor to call him friend.
