The future is coming! One of the grids most anticipated events, Futurewave, is almost here.  Beginning at noon PT on 13 February (and ending at midnight 1 March), this year's event is going to be stellar!  There is a giant lineup of some of the most amazing designers in SecondLife all gearing up to offer you some of their best creations.  

Two items featured here are the Android Arms & Legs by Aryn Gellner of My Stuff...the legs come in Ballet Heel, Tiptoe Heel, and Wedge Heel, and Fitted versions and the arms also come in regular and fitted versions with optional gesture positions for the hands.  

Also featured is the BluPrintz Data Pad attachment; this comes with a HUD for customization so that you can adjust it to fit any look you may desire!

Finally, the third item featured is a facial tattoo by Beautiful Freak, the Circuit Eye Makeup and lipstick.  These come in sooooooooo many colors you'd seriously have a hard time not finding the perfect one!  So many colors!!!

My outfit is head to toe from Ashmoot, including my hat and hair.  These lovely ensembles are system clothes, can you believe it?  Fear not those of you with meshy curves as each set includes a heap of appliers, you are sure to find the ones you need. My fave part of this outfit is the line of perfect little bows down my back and derrier. How cute are those? The bows not my tooshie.. geesh!

So recently I had the opportunity to meet and begin working with one of Second Life's awesome designers, DJ A.F.I. who is the creative genius behind the AFI Designs clothing brand.  Known far and wide for her stunning haute couture fashions, she has decided to veer slightly from the high fashion path and enter the darkness!  So naturally I totally wanted to jump on board with that...we need more dark designers in sl!  I can't even tell you how excited I am to see what kind of new lovelies she comes up with...AFI Designs is one to watch folks!  Now, since she's decided to go in a new fashion direction that also warrants a new store which is being built right this minute.  Until it's complete you have to get your fashion fix on the Marketplace and the link for AFI Designs is here.  If you're one of those who prefer shopping in-world just give it a little time and your patience will be rewarded!  

The first of many future AFI Designs beauties is shown here, a stunning little dress called Damaged.  It features cut-out holes throughout the skirt giving a teasing little peekaboo look, showing off plenty of skin while still keeping those important areas covered.  It comes in the standard 5 mesh sizes and has a pair of nude tintable underwear as well as some pasties if you need a little modesty along the low-cut bust line.  The bodice has a rich velvety look to it while the skirt features a sassy yet subtle polka dot pattern.  Feisty and demure at the same time, you need this dress!

For my nails I naturally went to the sl Nail Goddess B over at Dark Passions - Koffin Nails who never fails to have the perfect design for whatever look I'm wearing.  This time of course was no exception and her Lots O Dots set matched this dress like they were made for each other.  These nails come in 6 colors with a black ombre option for each color giving you a total of 12 options in one HUD.  Total bargain!

Then of course there were the eyes.....ohhhh the eyes.  When I like a designer I tend to go way overboard and buy nearly everything they have.  Then later, I have no clue what it is I'm looking for in the giant sea of greatness.  I find it's actually easier to look through my inventory by looking through the marketplace.  So when I need to pick eyes, I pop onto the VerseEye store to figure out what to use from my inventory.  Imagine me gasping in delight and glee when I stumbled upon a line that I didn't have!!!  How did I miss these?  The Dragon Wind set has 4 variations and each is better than the last.  Intense colors, heart-stopping detail, no clue how I hadn't seen these before!  I quickly snatched 'em up and haven't been able to take them off since!

My outfit today is from Thanks for All the Nebulae! again and just like the pieces I showed you a few days ago, it's pretty wonderful and currently available at TIMEKILLER. The lace detail on the skirt is absolutely lovely and look at how sexy that top is! It really is, isn't it? 

 
I am wearing another beautiful TIMEKILLER nail design from DarkPassions. This lovely design features all kinds of fun cogs and gears in a selection of metallic shades. It's totally perfect for goth and steampunk looks. And seriously it has "time warp" in the name.  I know that when I read that I cant help but sing a bit of the song from RHPS. Gotta love that!

Of course I slid some DeadPool, VerseEye and Mystic Canvass into this look.  Shoes, eyes and my skin all from the best designers on the grid. Yes, I do have a biased opinion, but there is a reason why I go back to some items over and over again. Because they are FABULOUS!

It's time to celebrate 2015 in epic gothic style. The long running Second Life magazine slGoth is hosting a festival to kick off the new year. Not only are there 15 fabulous creators participating, but there are DJs and some lovely gothic storytelling. There are also some great movies and concert footage gracing the big screen at various scheduled times. Check the TIMEKILLER page for more details.

My outfit includes some lovely pieces from the event. This amazingly shapely corset from BYRNE is an event exclusive and also is available in a lighter version. The ribbon shoulder straps are truly unique and lovely.

My pants are from Thanks for All the Nebulae! and fit like a dream. The dainty lil Armilla Macabre necklace is also from TfAtN and will only be available during this event. I am wearing the gold and red version, but the set includes 4 color variations. All for 99L! It really is a lovely piece of work. 

Of course my nails are Koffin Nails from Dark Passions, you knew that already.
